A South Park C&S 2-6-0

Another shot of the South Park C&S 2-6-0

A completed shot of the South Park C&S 2-6-0

The follow 3 photos show an 1880s D&RG 0-6-0T Class 48 switcher which was kitbashed using components from an Aristocraft C-16 2-8-0 model. The D&RG often had cause to share loco components for ease and efficiency in the loco shops, and thus the Class 48 was virtually a shortened D&RG 2-8-0. The line owned nine of the '48s, the first delivered in 1877. The last one left the line in 1903. All wound up serving on logging lines. The model was substantially bashed using C-16 parts with added scratch built components such as the saddle tank, dome bases, coal bunker and both end pilots. The saddle tank is made from a PVC pipe which is clad with .25mm styrene with punched rivet detail.

Below are 3 photos of North Pacific Coast #13, a 2-6-0 in 1:24 scale. The model utilizes an Aristocraft 2-8-0 chassis, modified into a 2-6-0. The stack, domes and pilot are from Accucraft and boiler and tender from the AMT General Kit.
