Express Reefers:

In late 1947 the Santa Fe had pool service agreements with the NYC for both baggage cars and express reefers, and these may have been current in 1953. The express reefers were half ATSF 4000-4040 series and half NYC wood sheathed cars with fishbelly side sills. These can also be made from a Cannonball kit.
