Santa Fe fans are best buying the undec version. The cars were originally built with two vestibules. At some point, one vestibule was eliminated and converted into a lounge, probably when purchased by the ATSF in 1948. If the Branchline product has two vestibules, it will only be prototypical for the early life of these cars.
Five Pullman owned cars were not sold to the Santa Fe but were assigned to Santa Fe trains after the war. These cars had steam ejector air conditioning with double vestibules. They are therefore the most likely candidates for the Branchline models.
