A special web page has been designed to discuss this subject. Click here to view it.

A Word of Caution.

The publication, Car and Locomotive Plans for Model Railroaders published in 1948 and 1953 has been the source of plans for a number of manufacturers of brass and plastic. Unfortunately faulty plans have resulted in erroneous models. The Concor Baggage Car was based on a drawing of 3446-3452 that shows a smooth roof when the roof was Budd fluted. Coach 3137-3166 has a fluted roof photograph but a smooth roof drawing.

Also one can not always believe the captions for photos.
