The Concor model 742 and Athearn SL Baggage are 70' fluted baggage cars which are close to Budd 3432-3452 built in 1942.

The Concor comes with a Pullman roof. You have to substitute a Budd roof (Concor Part #70, cut down). Concor doors are placed better than Athearn, fluting is incorrect on both. The Athearn model has a Budd roof, but with misplaced (and cast on) roof vents. Both lack the second set of steps.

The roof should have 6 vents, three per side, offset from each other.

Car and Locomotive Plans for Model Railroaders. Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway System, 1953. Includes drawing of 3446 class saying it is Budd built but showing a smooth roof, which probably influenced the wrong roof on the Concor model. It also has one step per door as the models above. The Concor coach is also erroniously based on a drawing in this publication.
