Saturday November 7 1998: Fall Foliage Excursion
Departing New Haven, Ky 11:00 am trip will operate between Boston, Gethsemene and New Hope on the former Lebanon Branch of the Louisville and Nashville Railroad. Trip will offer Full Dining and Counter Lounge Service. And Additional First Class will be available in the former Louisville and Nashville Railroad Private Car The " Kentucky" .
Saturday November 21 1998: Thanksgiving Special Departing New Haven, Ky 11:00 am trip will operate between Boston, Gethsemene and New Hope. Train will have Roast Turkey and Dresssing in addition to the regular menu.
Saturday December 19 1998 : Christmas on the Louisville and Nashville. Train will feature the full Louisville and Nashville Railroad Christmas Menu. Train will offer additional Coach Accommodations so your children can have Lunch with Santa Claus. Children will be served a special menu and receive a gift from Santa Claus. Served at their seat by one of Santa's Elf's
On all scheduled runs of the Flamingo in December a special holiday menu will be offered with a Selected Soup, Tossed Salad, a choice of Roast Turkey with Dressing, or Old Kentucky Country Ham, Mashed Potatoes or Candied Yams, Green Beans or Peas, and your Choice of Plum Pudding with rum sauce or Pumpkin Pie.

L&N Seafood Platter for the seafood lovers served with Seafood Gumbo, Julienne Potatoes, Cole Slaw, with shrimp and tarter sauce. Note Chicken and Red Beans will return as menu items following the Holidays.
