Unfortunately the little steam locos no longer make the trip to the peak
Some of the scenery approaching a passing siding
The maximum grade is 25% - a bit more than the Lazy Acre RR’s 5% grades
At the top - and it was cold. I saw some pockets of snow on the way up
I should have been wearing more than short sleeves, shorts and sandals
14,110 ft - no wonder it was this cold - even in August
The buffalo burgers and cocoa were worth every overpriced penny!
