The Cub Scouts were celebrating their 75th Anniversary Spring Event with displays from the scouts and other organizations. LILS had two steam locomotives on display. George Luhrs brought his steam-powered tractor and miniature engines. It was very gratifying to hear parents telling their children, "You remember the trains. You rode them last year."
