Connections to the Crooked Creek Railroad
There are three main connections to the Crooked Creek Railroad. The Ohio and Western, Detroit, Toledo and Ironton, and the Stillwater and South Dale all have connections to the Crooked Creek.
This is the main interchange on the railroad. The Ohio and Western brings standard gauge coal hoppers in for loading from coal mines on the Crooked Creek. Coal is transferred here from narrow gauge cars. This is the only area on the railroad where there is dual gauge trackage.
The DT&I and the SW&SD have warehouse connections with the Crooked Creek. Both of these connections are in the vicinity of Victor and Crosley yard.
