Metrolink F59PH #864 leads an midday Orange County Line train into the transportation center at Oceanside, Calif. Nov. 17, 2003. The station in northern San Diego County also sees Metrolink trains on the Inland Empire Line to and from San Bernardino.

The train is passing the grade crossing at the north end of the station. The warning sign is there to help prevent people from walking on or otherwise crossing the busy line illegally.

Metrolink connects here with two North County Transit District services: the Oceanside-San Diego Coaster, which operates with locomotive hauled trains, and the Oceanside-Escondido Sprinter, which uses a fleet of Siemens "Desiro" articulated light DMUs. Amtrak's Pacific Surfliner trains also stop here.
