The #825 seen here in the McCloud yards with a load of trucks, possibly from a derailment
clean-up. The diesel switcher cab at the extreme left of the photo belonged to one of three
ex-Burlington Northern EMD NW-2 switchers, which were obtained by the Great Western Railroad
Museum in the mid-1980's. The three were stored on the McCloud up until the time that all three
were scrapped in late 2001/early 2002. |
