(Picture: 40)- McCloud, CA, 5/2003. The #826 was one of two additional passenger flats converted in the McCloud shops from former maintenance-of-way flats in the spring of 1995. The #826 appears to have been re-built as a flatcar from an all door boxcar. The car was converted to a double-deck design about 1996 or 1997. It is the principle flat used on excursion trains today. |
