Salvage Operations at Bartle |

The Highway 89 crossing at Bartle received new solar powered protection equipment shortly
after the turn of the century. This equipment is now on the ground, awaiting its fate. These pictures show
the toppled flashers and gates, the grade looking both directions from the crossing, and the solar panel
and electrical box. Rails have already been picked up and relayed onto this grade at least once or twice before;
this time, they are unlikely to return. All are by Jeff Moore.  |
