MMRS: Who We Are
Who We Are
We are a group of O scale model railroaders from the Greater Boston area.
Mostly, we model in 2 rail O scale, but we do have some members who have
hi-rail equipment. (hi-rail is 3 rail O scale, built
to scale dimensions). Several of our members are also interested in On3 and On30.
We're sponsoring an O scale Train show, to be held in Hudson, MA, in April of 2003. Click here for more info.
We meet once a month at the home of one of our members. It is
usually in the same location, but different members can take turns hosting
a meeting. Several members have basement O scale layouts.
We are building O scale modules to display at various model
railroad shows over the year. Club members will own the straight
sections, and the club will own the corner modules. The first set
of straight sections are just in the hands of the individual members.
The frames for the corners have been assembled, and several club members are working on the tracklaying, electrics, and scenery.
We have two different levels of Membership:

Full Members have full voting rights and can be club officers. Dues
are currently $35 a year.

Associate Members have no voting rights and cannot be officers. Dues
are currently $20 a year.
The most important element of the club is to have fun with our "toy trains".
