"A" Class
The "A" Class locomotive was a rebuild of the "B" Class locomotive performed in the mid 80's. Low mileage locomotives where given slight body modifications and a new coat of paint from "VR" 'blue and yellow' livery to "V/Line" 'tangerine' livery. The motors where upgraded with turbochargers increasing the power from 1630hp to 2510hp.

"V/Line Passenger" blue, red and white livery.

A62 now features "V/Line Passenger" 'blue, red and white' livery.
This locomotive has plaques attached dedicating its rebuild
to the men and women who served the railways of Victoria.
Last sighted 26th April 2012 Down Pass, approaching Bacchus Marsh.

'red, white and yellow' 'Mark III' livery.

leading 37 container/platforms passing through Navigators.

hoppers and 16 empty log platforms passing under the Princes Fwy. O/P, Corio.

Last sighted 28th September 2012 Up Freight trailing G539, leading X42, 9 container/
platforms, 10 cement hoppers and another 30 container/platforms passing through Navigators.

Last sighted 23rd November 2012 Up Freight trailing G529, leading X49, a container/
platform, 13 cement hoppers and another 29 container/platforms passing through Navigators.

'Freight Australia' logos have been covered with 'Pacific National' logos.
Last sighted 21st December 2012 Up Freight trailing G542, leading P20

"B" Class
The "B" Class locomotive was built by Clyde Engineering in the 50's. The original power of the unit was 1630hp. These locomotives where also repainted in the mid 80's from "VR" 'blue and yellow' livery to "V/Line" 'tangerine' livery.

B60 has been rebuilt as an 'A' class locomotive.

"SSR" livery. It is owned by CFCL Australia
and leased by Southern Shorthaul Railroad.

storage in Steamrail's Newport workshops.

B64 in storage in the Ballarat East railyards.
Recently moved possibly due to vandalism, it
sits on transfer bogies, the basic shell & engine
left to rust away. It is owned by Steamrail Victoria.

B65 is now owned by Chicago Freight Car Leasing Australia.
Formally owned by West Coast Rail, it still features
West Coast Rail's 'blue, white and yellow' livery.
Last sighted 25th December 2005 stabled on transfer bogies, Bendigo workshops yard.

Seymour Railway Heritage Centre and leased to El Zorro Transport Solutions.
Last sighted 3rd May 2012 Down Light Engine, passing through Ballarat East.

B75 still in original "VR" 'blue and yellow' livery, sits in storage on transfer
bogies at Seymour yard turntable sidings. This locomotive is privately
owned and once restored will be run on the Yarra Valley Tourist Railway.
Last sighted 22nd June 2007 stored, Seymour yard turntable sidings.

B76

B76 now features "CFCLA's" 'blue, silver and yellow' livery.
It is owned by CFCL Australia and leased to various operators.
Last sighted 16th December 2009 Down Freight trailing G511,
leading HL203 and 52 container/platforms leaving Gheringhap loop.

B80 is now owned by Chicago Freight Car Leasing Australia.
Formally owned by West Coast Rail, it still features
West Coast Rail's 'Murraylander' livery.

static display in their North Williamstown railway museum.

"C" Class
The "C" Class locomotive, road numbers 501 - 510, were built by Clyde Engineering in the mid 70's. The power of the unit was 3340hp. These locomotives where also repainted in the mid 80's from "VR" 'blue and yellow' livery to "V/Line" 'tangerine' livery. These locomotives where considered to be the pride of the Victorian fleet and are a favorite with many a railfan. These locomotives are now owned and operated by various companies.

C501 now features "VR" 'blue and yellow' livery. It has been rebuilt and
painted and is owned by Seymour Railway Heritage Centre and currently
leased to El Zorro Transport Solutions. Last sighted 7th December 2012 Up
Freight leading S302, L277 and 41 grain hoppers passing through Maroona.

C502 now features 'blue and yellow' livery. It is owned
by CFCL Australia and leased to various operators.
Last sighted 9th November 2012 stabled, Goulburn
Railway Workshops yard sidings, Goulburn.

C503 now features "Southern Shorthaul Railroad's" 'black and yellow' livery.
It is owned by CFCL Australia and leased to Southern Shorthaul Railroad.
Last sighted 8th November 2012 Up Freight leading G514, G513, G511 and
46 coal hoppers passing over the Hunter River viaduct into Sandgate, Newcastle.

C504 (once numbered Cs2 with Silverton Tramways (as pictured)),
now features 'blue and yellow' livery. It is owned by
Coote Industrial and leased to Pacific National.
