Point of Rocks, Maryland (1873-75). Beauty of a station on the CSX Metropolitan Line where it joins the former B&O Old Main Line. An American RR Icon. CSX Maintenance office. June 2007 Stewart Junction -- a reproduction freighthouse serves as the Education Center for the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania.
At Irondale, Alabama a railfan photo pavilion sits beside the Norfolk Southern tracks right in front of the Whistle Stop Cafe, famous for their fried green tomatoes. Guadalupe, California. An Amtrak stop near the beach and a good example of Southwestern themed station architecture.
At Duncan Mills, California this freighthouse is in a commercial center including a depot that I did not get a good picture of. Alamosa, Colorado. Old Denver & Rio Grande station now serves the San Luis & Rio Grande Railroad and the San Luis Scenic trains to La Veta Pass and to a meeting with the Cumbres & Toltec
Grand Junction, Colorado (1910). Built by Denver & Rio Grande RR. Still a station stop for the "California Zephyr" now operated by Amtrak. Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania. Amtrak stop. Pennsylvania Railroad station awaits funding decisions for its restoration.

Grand Central Station, New York City. Big, grand, beautiful. Metropolitan Transit station for Metro North Rail service. Grand Central Station, New York City. Main concourse with the famous information desks.
Orbisonia station, Rockhill Furnace, Pennsylvania (1907). Station stop for the narrow gauge East Broadtop steam railroad. Reading Terminal, Philadelphia (1893). The trainshed is now an airy, spacious main entrance to the Philadelphia Convention Center.
Paoli, Pennsylvania. Amtrak and SEPTA stop. Thirtieth Street Station, Philadelphia (1933). One of the great achievements of American railroad architecture. One of Amtrak's busiest stops.

Steinman Station, Strasburg, Pennsylvania. Representation of a c. 1915 PRR depot at the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania. Scene of telegraph demonstration. The baggage room shows the museum's orientation video. Temple, Pennsylvania. Former host location to the reading Company Technical & Historical Society, now situated a few miles North in Hamburg, PA. The Grand Opening there is scheduled for April 12, 2008.

International & Great Northern Station, San Antonio, Texas (1908). Once a passenger station for the I&GN, then the Missouri Pacific and then Amtrak. Now headquarters for a municipal employees credit union who must be credited for the very good restoration. Teague, Texas (1907). The Burlington-Rock Island depot now houses a fine railroad museum next to the BNSF Gulf Division tracks.
Walt Disney World, Florida (1972). Main Street Station for the Walt Disney World Railroad. West Willow, Pennsylvania. Once a depot on the Lancaster & Reading, it was abandoned, restored as an office, and is now for sale.
The depot in Ashland, Virginia. This is CSX Transportation, the former Richmond, Fredericksburg & Potomac. Across the tracks is Randolph Macon College. Amtrak stop. The old Reading depot in Topton, PA now is home to a cafe next to the Norfolk Southern.
PRR Depot Christiana, PA. Inactive, preserved. On Amtrak Keystone Route in Lancaster County PRR freight house Christiana, PA. Restored and used as home of Lancaster Chapter NRHS.
Amtrak station, Parkesburg, Pennsylvania. A stop on the Keystone Route. Ex-PRR. Active Ex-Reading Company station, Lititz, Pennsylvania. Restored and preserved by the community.
