What is Dirt Circuit Racing A.D.C.C.S.A Dirt Circuit Racing is a form of motor sport found only in the Mid North and West Coast of South Australia. Racing is on small to medium sized tracks of either dirt or compacted rubble. And the tracks vary in shape , from kidney shaped to odd shaped triangles. Each race meeting has four rounds of racing per day of six laps per round. Two rounds are run clockwise and two rounds are run anti clockwise. Points are awarded for the position the driver finishes in the race, 6 for first, 5 for second, 4 for third , down to 1 for sixth. At the end of racing the winner of each class is the driver with the most points. Racing is divided into three categories Openwheeler, Saloon and Standard Class , Each class has strict guidelines and rules and safety is the most important priority. The Titles are the top events of the year, cars from every Club in the area compete for the position of State Title in each division. The Titles are held at two venues and the winner is the driver accumulating the most points at the two events. This year the titles are being held at Tumby Bay and (Black Rock 30th Sept / 1st October) Sleep over nite at the track or either The Peterborough or Orroroo Caravan Parkes..
