Trinity
Railway Express has made some fairly substantial service changes. The most
substantial change is the elimination of the platform-change at Fort Worth on
one of the mid-day trains. The result is two separately operated trains, one to
DFW only and the other through to Fort Worth. There are also far fewer
short-turn trips that operate only to DFW Airport.

EASTBOUND
- FORT WORTH TO DALLAS:
The
schedule, which includes a platform change at DFW Airport, continues to exist
for the fall timetable. Former train 2934, which had a lengthy enroute delay
has been reduced to a West Irving-Dallas only schedule. It is the last
eastbound short-turn train over the original portion of the route. A later
partial trip is added to the schedule from Fort Worth T&P to Dallas Union
Station. There have been a fair number
of new trips added into the schedule to close most of the schedule gaps during
the mid-day periods. The Table below shows the old (spring timetable) train
numbers and what changes including renumbering was made to each of the
respective trains. There has been no
schedule change to Modified or Saturday schedule operations since March 7,
2004. The Transfer schedule, since there is no more platform change westbound,
will be folded back into the regular schedule and the separate page will be
stricken from the Trainweb Server.
