Spring Meet 2008
Those of you who attended know how good it was, we had to great clinics, great shop and tell models, which the staff forgot to announce, please forgive us, we hope that you did get some time to speak of you times, we had a great looking O scale coach, some really new designs to some Pennsy engines, a copy of the Hoboken Terminal and more. Thank you to all those who contributed. On the model judging side we had buildings from Bruce De Young and traction engines from Tom Piccirillo. Both persons earned merit awards for their models. We had a good lunch, great door prizes donated by our local hobby shops and a fine operating session on the clubs layout afterward. All in all, with our mistakes, we had a fine meet. Be sure to attend our annual BBQ in August where we intend to have clinics and some more show and tell.
Be sure to check out the pictures on our past events page.
The GSD has an official logo

What do you think of it? It was selected from a large number of submissions by the staff, mainly Chuck,
who did 95% of the work, but it's done and we have a Logo. Expect to see more of it on the future.
Point of information. If you plan on attending the national Convention in Hartford next year, and you want a room in the host hotel, submit your registration form now. The NMRA is now in charge of housing and they will assign the rooms in the host hotel in February 1009 by registration numbers therefore the lower the number the better your chance of getting a room in the host hotel.
Thank you
