Summer BBQ

Yep, we had such a good time we're doing it again.
Thanks to the kindness of the two great clubs.
Garden State Model Railway Club (HO scale) and the
Model Enginneers Railroad Club of North Jersey (O scale)
located at 575 and 569 High Mountain Road, North Haledon NJ
The date is August 24th, 2008.
We'll starting burning the dogs (& Burgers) at 12 Noon
The first one and soda are on us. $1.00 each afterward.
One clinic, Door prizes and a Op session with the
Garden State Model Railway Club are planned.

This year we are building 2 4x4 layouts with track by group
and will raffle them off at the end of the day.
ALL FAMILY MEMBERS CAN PARTICIPATE
Donations of Scenery, ballast, HO track, Cars and
Engines for the layouts cheerfully accepted.

Fall Meet

Again, thanks to the goodness of the New York Society of Model Engineers,
we will again be at the groups swap meet just up the Raod from the club in St Joesph's school
but this time we'll start at 10 AM instead of the usual 12 noon
so be there on Saturday, October 25th, 2008
Donations only accepted to the GSD as there is a $5.00 admission fee to the show

Events

We host 3 meets a year at various local model Railroad clubs which are kind enough to support us.
During our Winter Meet we also hold our annual business meeting for the purpose of elections
 and general division business. We also try to put together a summer ‘Rolling Meet’
where we gather as a group to see the real thing (see below).

Please join us at these events, they are our way of getting the NMRA to you

All conventions, meets and meetings are open to all members and their guests 
except staff meetings which are open to members only.

please let us know and we will try provide you a ride.
