Built in 1921 in Cleveland, this car was part of NOT&L’s last order for new interurban cars. They were appointed with the best accommodations available at the time. They ran over the entire length of the line from Cleveland to Uhrichsville. Some cars were operated in premier service, featuring lighted round drumhead signs announcing the “Northern Ohio Limited”. These cars remained very well maintained until the end. One car in the series, 1514, was painted only 6 months before scrapping. You can still travel a part of the NOT&L’s route. State Rt. 8 from Cuyahoga Falls to Northfield was built on the old track bed.
