Semi-Convertible Car # 588

Semi-convertible car 588 was built in 1910 by the Kuhlman Car Co. for the Toledo Railway & Light Co. It is very unusual in that one end of the roof is a railroad roof and the other a deck roof.

588 has just arrived at Medina County near Spencer on its way to NORM from Grand Rapids, Ohio.

To the right is the interior detail of the car, great woodwork. The traction controller can be seen through the window. (1/01)
