Old Time Trains

CVR Alton station. It burned down in the 1930's There was also a TG&B station farther out of town. Rev. Price

This new station was a unique one-of-a-kind structure built in the Great Depression to replace the
original station that burned down. It was a bare minimum structure, fitting for the times.
Covered with insulbrick an artificial product that came in rolls. July 1962 R.L.Kennedy
