Originally named Cataract Junction, later just Cataract.

Long-abandoned (c.1932) turntable pit.

Looking south down Orangeville Sub. (left) and west up Elora Sub.

Cataract remained a flag stop for the Dayliner as well as a Register point until abandonment of the Elora Subdivision.
Note that there isn't even a power line to the shelter although it had a stove of some kind. May 4, 1966 Ed Emery
