Inglewood Junction

First known as Sligo on the Hamilton & North Western then Sligo Junction, when the Credit Valley arrived in 1879 to cross the then Northern & North Western Railways of Canada. Briefly renamed Riverdale, it became Inglewood in 1886.

First known by the GTR as Inglewood Junction, it was later designated simply, Inglewood. Sometimes referred to as a "union" station, (effective 1882) this was actually a joint-use facility for both its owner Canadian National, and Canadian Pacific. A true Union station is one owned jointly by two or more railways.
