Freight car repair shop. This 35,000 sq.ft. brick building was constructed in 1909. Additional buildings were added.
Note the unique fold-up doors which were later replaced by more conventional swinging doors.
A transfer table served the cars shops which made West Toronto one of the very few places with two transfer tables.
