Less than a month old (delivered September 28, 1959) 8031 MLW RS-23, a BLU (Branch Line Unit) in CPR's parlance, almost hides MLW RS-10 8593 on the shop tracks. Out of view are MLW RS-18's 8743, 8730, 8737. Inside is MLW S-13 6616, and 13 steam locomotives, only three live. October 20,1959. R L Kennedy
