Parkdale

CPR Parkdale station was built in 1910 replacing the former 1879 Credit Valley Railway station. The adjoining CP Express building was built in 1913. It closed as a passenger station on Friday, October 26, 1968 with the 6:25 p.m. scheduled departure of #307 (Dayliner) to Owen Sound. The station was later demolished although the former express building remained in use as a truck garage for Fast Frate, a pool car operator located nearby in the Top yard. 1959 R.L.Kennedy
