A red oil lamp and red flag is considered adequate protection. Junction Road in distance to the right (east).

 

West Toronto Street runs west at left between CPR West Toronto shops and the Stock Yards.

One block north from Junction Road is Hirons Street a short street running eastward.

Another block north is Lloyd Avenue another short street at right running east.
Note the advertisement painted on the brick building for Old Chum tobacco products
a popular brand and a popular method of advertising for many years.
