This CBM cement truck was impressive looking for its day. Second view, see below. March 23, 1950.
In the background at the corner of Yonge and Queen is the F.W.Woolworth store whose "slogan" was 5 10 and 15 cents. S.S.Kresge was known as the "five and dime" store. Both chains carried very similar merchandise, much of it well over those prices. They were the equivalent of today's dollar stores!
