The Terminal Credit Union was chartered on October 4th. 1940 for Canadian Pacific Railway, Canadian Pacific Express, Toronto Terminals Railway and Canadian Pacific Airlines employees and pensioners. Collection of R.L.Kennedy

Due to declining membership on account of a reduction in the number of railway employees and the growing popularity of trust companies, the Terminal Credit Union was merged with All Trans Credit Union which was for TTC (Toronto Transit Commission) employees. Its location was at Bathurst and Dupont Streets near Hillcrest Shops.

There was briefly another credit union, Beaver Credit Union located at CPR Toronto Yard in Agincourt. It remained in existance for only a few years.
