Bulk marine terminal of 139 acres on the north shore of Burrard Inlet, it opened in 1960.

Note: Sold 1993 to British Columbia Railway. April 3, 2007 40 year lease to Kinder Morgan Canada Terminals.
Canadian National Railways acquired BC Rail July 14, 2004 following which CN took over all switching.
Only 1 unit 820 retained.

One of two identical units acquired for startup. 1 (21) scrapped 1/73 for parts. 2 (22) sold 9/74.
When the workload became too heavy these two small diesels were replaced by two steam locomotives!

Looking pretty shabby this unit was 25 years old when acquired and nearly 38 years old when photographed.
