F3A and F3B 1500 hp EMD 65 mph

CNR had three A-B-A sets of F3's A's 9000, 9002, 9003 and 9005. B's 9001 and 9004

GTW had 22 A units 9006-9027. No B units.

Note: 9016-9027 were "F5's" a pseudo model not actually assigned by EMD.
These were a newer version of the F3 built prior to introduction of the F7 model.

Note: This unit was wrecked and rebuilt by GMD with a GP9 carbody and numbered 4824.
It had a 16-567B 1500 hp prime mover and Blomberg trucks later converted to flexicoil trucks.
