850 one of five G8 875 hp units built with A-1-A trucks
for light branchline use and modified c. 12/57. GMD A610 6/54
This was an export model and other than six similar units for the narrow
gauge Newfoundland lines
no others were built for use in Canada.
Shown on the Kamloops Jct. shop track this was believed to be the Kelowna
yard engine in for weekend servicing.
