William Weir 87 at GWR station Toronto. One of several provincial gauge 4-4-0's rebuilt into standard gauge 0-4-4T switchers. Rebuilt 1871 likely Erie 66 built 9/1853 by John Souther, South Boston, MA.

Note: N.G. sign tells switchtenders approaching train is Narrow Gauge.
In fact it was "Standard" gauge 4' 8 1/2" because GWR was actually "Broad" gauge 5' 6".
