GP9 Upgraded road switchers

Part of the Ten-Year Locomotive Program

Early rebuilds 8200-8204 under original numbers.

8205-8249 main allotment.

8250-8252 renumbered yard units (1572, 1616, 1619) that had retained transition thus capable of road speeds.

8200 (ex 8615 rebuilt 9/1981) Note extended rear sand box.
Note too the rerailer (yellow) a pair (one each side) was standard practice.

New paint scheme minus Multimark. Rerailers removed.
White reflective stripe replaces small dots for better level crossing night visibility.

Sold 6/2015 LTEX 8200 .
