At this time the Sudbury-White River schedule required two sets of equipment for the daily except Tuesday service. Two of the rare RDC-4 (all baggage) 9250, 9251 and two RDC-2 combination cars 9108, 9112 were assigned to Sudbury for these trains as well as a single RDC-3 9023 for the Sudbury-Soo service.
