Former Colonist car CPR 2308 blt 03/1890 as Tourist sleeping car CPR 478
Renumbered Tourist CPR 1013 ca/1983
Renumbered Tourist CPR 1008 02/1907
Converted to Colonist Sleeping car CPR 1008 12/1908
Renumbered Colonist Sleeping car CPR 2308 01/1911
Converted to open mountain observation car 7900 04/1922
EO 2459 Rebuilt April 1929 with roof, enclosed centre compartment and
electric lighting added.
Retired April 1955 and dismantled.

Car series CP 7900-7815 (1922-1955) replaced car series CP 7985-7992 (1917-1922).
Of the 16 CP 7900 series, 10 were built in 1922; 4 in 1925; and 2 in 1928.
Cars CP 7900-7915 were all replaced by car series CP 597-599 (1955-1960)
and CP PARK series dome observation cars (1954-1978).
