This post card was addressed to Acton West and cancelled June 9, 1908 on the Toronto, St.Marys & London RPO. Assuming it was posted in that mail box on the front of the station, it would likely have been carried north by a CPR Toronto-Owen Sound passenger train to Brampton where it would have been turned over to the GTR

Tues. morning. Dear mother - Have only time for a card just now. Got in from Streetsville this morning. I do wish the weather would cool off. It is simply unbearable. Suppose you have John & Florence home. Wish it was time for me to get back (illegible) in hot weather isn't very inviting. Will write late. Katie.
