ex Norfolk Southern 3249 above and 3251 below show off their NS standard long-end forward arrangement.
For this reason they were not used as lead units, the cab equipment was not brought up to Canadian requirements.
They were repainted and renumbered 5480 and 5481 but remained B units with cab windows blanked over.
