San Diego & Eastern Arizona Railway
Dr. Andy Michaud’s SD&EA layout is located at the Interlachen Animal
Hospital in Winter Park, Florida. The layout is based on the Santa Fe railroad’s operations
from southwestern California to northwestern Mexico. It consists of seven 3 X 8 modules
that include: Lindbergh Field, downtown San Diego, Hotel Del Coronado, AT&SF 24th Street
Yard, National City, Naval Station, and Tijuana.

Some significant people who have helped Andy build
this layout include his receptionist Charlene, Darryl "Darryl-San"
Jamison, and club president Bill Sterner. Many other club members have
also helped Andy as the layout continues to progress. The inaugural run
of this layout was Sunday, June 4th 2006. The slide show on the left
display’s the original configuration of Andy’s modules and some of the
labor required to set it up. As of late 2007, Andy was finally able to
establish a permanent room for his modules which eliminated this setup
routine.
