About Our Layout

This double-deck switching layout is based on the Baltimore And Ohio Chicago Terminal (BOCT) railroad in Chicago, Illinois, during the early 1950's. The layout extends the length of a 30ft by 60ft wall. It is wired for Digitrax DCC control and features B and O style signals that are wired for CTC or ABS train movement. The layout also has custom built magnetic thrown switches. Instead of using standard switch stands, an HO scale person with a magnet mounted to the base controls the position of the switch.
