Troop 319 Visits the Orlando Ntrak Club

On Wednesday, September 12, 2007, Troop 319, from Oviedo, Florida visited the Orlando N-trak Club. Everyone who participated in running trains had a great time. At the end of the session, each scout who ran a train received an engineer’s certificate.

Below are pictures of the Wednesday night visit

Two Canadian Pacific freight trains and one Great Northern passenger train wait at Pittsburgh Station for their engineers to arrive.

More trains lineup on the other end of the layout.

Members came together to chat and make the final preparations before the scouts arrival.

Orlando N-trak Club president, Bill Sterner, gave each scout a nametag and assigned them to a train.

Eager scouts wait in line to take a train.

Robert Raymond and his junior engineer successfully drive their train through the town of Carbon Hill.

Visitors and members continue to observe the trains on the layout.

Engineer Casey aka “Casey Jones” had a great time running fast trains.

Jeff Chisholm points out specific cars for his junior engineer.
