Chance C.P.Huntington
Historical Data:
This train has been in continuous production since the early 1960s.
Spotting Features:
This is a miniature version of the famous Central Pacific "C.P. Huntington"
locomotive now displayed in the California State Railroad Museum. The engine
features leading and trailing trucks which bear a strong resemblance to the
four-wheel Blomberg diesel locomotive truck used under early EMD diesels.
The large "main driver" at the center carries very little weight and is merely
an idler wheel, purely there for looks.
