The Alan Herschell G-16Historical Data:The Alan Herschell Company bought out the Miniature Train Company in 1958. Production of the MTC G-16 continued under Herschell at least into the 1960s. Heschell also used many of the G-16's technical features to create the steam outline S-16 .Spotting Features:Identical to the MTC G-16 . None of the Herschell units had the MTC "wings" herald on the nose, but many pre-1958 MTC trains also lack this feature so it is not a reliable indicator.
