The Original Parktrains WebsiteParktrains Handbook |
|||||||||||||
|
This portion of the Parktrains Website attempts to list the various standard production park trains that have been sold since the origin of the park train. In order to qualify for this handbook, a minimum of two identical or nearly identical units must have been manufactured for a minimum of two separate buyers. Trains which were built specifically for one park, or which were built by an individual or group of individuals, are considered custom trains and are beyond the scope of this handbook. Each page of this handbook contains information on the locomotive type's history, production, and technical specifications. Most of the train types have a representative photograph, but I'm missing pictures of a few types of trains. No claim is made regarding the completeness or accuracy of this information, although I've tired to make it as accurate as possible. Note that this handbook is not intended to replace the more in-depth historical information at the Historyville station . Photographs and additional information are always welcome. The Custom Locomotive offerings are already described in excellent detail on Custom Locomotive's website. Therefore I got lazy and simply linked to them. Go on, flame me! |
