Seen rambling towards Barrcroft Chemicals near Cape Henlopen, this is the classic DCL bridge near Lewes, Delaware. However, at the time of the photo, the MDDE was in charge of the line with Conrail Express SW900 801. Still, this shot can be taken anytime the DCL ventures for Lewes. Its THE shot to have on the line, or some variation of it.

Seen at the state facility in Gravel Hill, De., Alco T-6 #19 has a few loads for offloading into Townsend Grain trucks.

With Delaware Coast Line Railroad T-6 19 in charge, we see the Queen Anne's Railway Dinner Train rolling along near Lewes, Delaware. The train is no longer run.

In a rare shot from within the gates, here's Alco RS-36 #2 tied down after dumping stone at the VFL plant near Connectiv in Indian River, Delaware.

Lensed on its maiden voyage on the Lewes Branch, this is MDDE (Conrail Express) SW900 801 heading to pick up its train on the other end of the siding. While not DCL, this unit is part of the recent history of the branch.

Seen in the plant at Barrcroft Chemicals in Cape Henlopen, the conductor is putting hand brakes on a car that has just been spotted. This is about all you can do photography wise at this plant.

A little manpower always gets the job done. This is how the bridge gets turned near Lewes, De., on the DCL mainline.

Seen heading for Lewes in September of 2000, Alco T-6 #19 is in charge of the three-car Barrcroft-bound train.
