Amtrak NEC Holmesburg Jct and Bustleton Industrial Track August 16 2004

CSAO FJ10 snakes its way across all four tracks of the NEC at Holmesburg Jct
The one constant on this train recently has been CSX 2814 ......
... today, partnered with PRR 5281, pictured here as it rolls by Holmes Tower, passing underneath the PECO high voltage transmission wire overbuild found on many non-electrified lines in the area, and enters the Bustleton Industrial Track.
After dropping off box cars at Grant Avenue and covered hoppers at Bluegrass Road, FJ10 shoves coil cars and bulkhead flat cars loaded with steel products across ungated Red Lion Road, right across from my old high school, the Alvin A. Swenson Skills Center (never noticed the trains back then, only the planes from the nearby Northeast Philadelphia Airport).
FJ10 pauses a moment while the conductor sets the switches, allowing just enough time to get a nice broadside of PRR 5281, which still looks good in Conrail Quality paint.
After delivering the inbound cars, FJ10 picks up the empties and heads back.
Total elapsed time from Holmesburg Jct to Red Lion Road (with two set offs): 45 minutes.
