Amtrak Northeast Corridor Cornwells Heights and Eddington Stations October 12 2004

A nose by any other name would still smell as sweet, except of course it is a nose on an Acela power car. Here is a small study of noses on three runs on Tuesday.

Westbound Acela Express 2151 with power car 2003 with no stripes or logo. Notice in the foreground that Amtrak has just added a step to the inside track wood platforms.
Bringing up the rear on 2151 was power car 2001 with stripes and red AMTRAK logo.
Acela Express 2104 with power car 2034 with no stripes or logos and a little paint damage.
Trailing unit on 2104 was power car 2032 with no stripes or logo and a little roof damage.
Acela Express 2111 passing Eddington with 2009 leading with no stripes or logo.
The rear power car on 2111 was 2020 with stripes and AMTRAK and "Three Sheets" logo in blue.
