University City District Trolley Day University City Philadelphia October 16 2004

This is Part Two of a series about University City Presents Trolley Day, Where 1938 Meets Today on the Tracks. Part One can be found here.

A SEPTA worker has just thrown the switch that diverts 2324 onto 42nd Street at Chester Avenue before resetting it for the Route 15 car that was following 2324.

Diamonds are a trolley lover's best friend, as 2324 heads north on 42nd Street. Note the varied architecture just one block apart, here at Chester Avenue and above at Baltimore Avenue.
